The Muscle Bullitts

Original Bullitt

From € 2,400

Lightweight, capable and refreshingly uncomplicated.

The Original Bullitt strips cargo biking back to the essentials. No motor, no battery, no charging routine – just a strong frame, efficient design and a ride that feels more like a bicycle than most cargo bikes ever manage. In many ways, it's a bike first and a cargo bike second.

Its low weight and responsive handling make heavy loads feel surprisingly manageable, while the simple mechanical setup means most things can be fixed with bicycle tools rather than software updates. Whether it's work, shopping or everyday transport, it's a bike that's always ready to go.

Nothing fancy. Just a Bullitt.

Features & Specs

Frame

The Bullitt’s geometry has been designed specifically to maintain good handling with weight in the cargo area whilst the compact rear end and short chainstay keep handling nimble. The steering system keeps turns precise and the height of the cargo area means that the centre of gravity is low, while ground clearance isn't compromised.

The industry-leading and standard-setting split frame construction is made from 7005-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium and thoroughly tested at independent lab facilities in Germany. This design is made to last and has been proven in demanding commercial use since 2008.

Fit & Adjustments

The Bullitt frame comes in one size. The geometry of the frame is designed to work for a wide range of rider sizes. Fine-tune the fit with a shorter stem and backswept handlebar for a shorter reach, or a longer seatpost if you’ve got long legs.

All complete Bullitts come with the Easy-Up stem lifter as standard. As the name suggests, it lets you adjust handlebar height quickly and without fuss. Set it up for a different rider, a change in riding style, or a heavier load in only a few seconds. The stemlifter allows for 100mm of adjustment.

The muscle Bullitts can also be bought as framekits, allowing you the freedom to build your Bullitt however you want. Want it without the Easy-up? Add a long steering rod to your order.

We have a selection of seatposts available. The minimum saddle height for a muscle Bullitt is 610mm, measured from the top of the saddle to the centre of the crankset, with our 350mm seatpost and race saddle installed. You can estimate your saddle height, by multiplying your inseam measurement with 0.883. All Bullitts use industry standard Ø 31.6 mm seatposts, making it easy to customize the setup with any standard seatpost if you want.

Standard Length Cargo Platform

The Bullitt cargo platform is designed around a low centre of gravity and a super-strong, open-sided construction, the foundation of its modular setup. The low centre of gravity gives you control and stability, while the open sides make it easy to mount a wide range of cargo solutions and accessories. You can build or re-build it just the way you like it.

The measurements of the standard length Bullitt cargo platform hasn’t changed since the birth of the Bullitt. This means all Bullitt cargo solutions will fit even when your bike reaches veteran status.
710mm long at the base, 824mm at the top and 466mm wide.

Brakes

We use TRP 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes across the Bullitt range because they work, and they keep working.
A 4-piston setup gives you a bit more control where it matters. Not just more power, but a steadier, more predictable feel at the lever. That’s useful on a cargo bike, where you’re often adjusting speed rather than just stopping.
All our bikes run 180 × 2.3 mm rotors. It’s a size and thickness that fits the job. The 180 mm diameter gives enough leverage, and the 2.3 mm rotor adds durability and helps manage heat when braking repeatedly. That becomes noticeable if you’re riding in hilly areas or spending more time on the brakes. The system stays consistent, without fading or changing character halfway through a descent.

There’s nothing complicated about it. It’s a solid, proven setup that handles everyday riding without needing much attention.

Extended Warranty

Bullitt bikes are built to work. That’s why every frame comes with a 5-year Larry vs Harry warranty. No registration. No heroic storytelling. Just a properly built frame, meant for everyday riding, heavy use and real life. Just keep your original receipt somewhere safe (a bankvault, a drawer, taped to the fridge – your call).
The extended warranty applies worldwide, for private and professional use. For more information on the Larry vs Harry warranty, visit our FAQ or Terms & Conditions.

Colourways

Classic

Classic, elegant, discreet - a colourway that turns heads, without ever asking for attention - It’s the Classic. While this is true, there are of course some devils in the details, with Solvognen and LP’s referenced in its sparse graphics.

Less decorated, more distinguished than it’s ever been. Black is still the new black, and understatement travels further than noise.

Bluebird

One of the colours that started it all - the first-ever commercial Bullitt and the bike that set the tone for everything that followed. It’s the ‘Bluebird’: A direct reference to those magnificent record-breaking machines that held the speed records from 1912 to the mid-'60s.

Today’s Bluebird still carries that rich blue legacy, with refined graphics that echo speed, water, and its Copenhagen roots, a tribute to innovation and the dream of pushing limits.

Moondog

In Denmark we have a name for a specific shade of dark blue; we call it Kongeblå, Kingsblue. It’s royalty, duality and weirdness - it’s the ‘Moondog’. The name is a tribute to the Hipster Viking, aka Moondog - a blind performer and composer, who dressed like a viking on 6.th Avenue in New York, performed a unique blend of classic and avantgarde music.

In terms of references, the Bullitt Moondog has quite a few. Of course the Moon at the seatpost and the Solar System on the main frame but also a couple of very special Danish artefacts.

Race

Inspired by British Racing Green – the hue that once cloaked Grand Prix Jaguars, Bentleys and others - it’s the ‘Race’. The Race Bullitt proudly wears that colour of speed and elegance, and can be found everywhere: From the streets, to the Vienna Technical Museum.

With the words “Danish Open Annual Cargo Bike Race… Svajerløbet” and its graphics, the Race references exactly that: Our annual Cargo Bike race, Svajerløbet, held in Copenhagen.

Major Tom

Back when the Bullitt was born, there were three types - and they were all black. Enter: Bullitt ‘Red’ - which later became ‘Pepper’, and once almost ‘Toro’ - now it’s the ‘Major Tom’.

Referencing, through its name and graphics: The rockstar Mr. David Bowie & the bike rider Tom Simpson, both legends, exploring the limits of human capacity.

Clockwork

People almost never call this Bullitt by its real name, they call it the “Clockwork Orange”. Nowhere on the bike is that name written… It is orange though, and part of the name is correct - it’s the ‘Clockwork’... So maybe this one’s an easy catch.

Film & music are two cornerstones of the Larry vs Harry universe - and no Bullitt does it better or clearer than the Clockwork. Thus this bike is decorated sparingly - all you’ll see is a portrait of some grumpy looking guy apparently called Ludwig Van… there might be some sort of a reference there, as well.

Milk Plus

It’s clean, it’s calm, and it’s deceptively simple - it’s the ‘Milk Plus’. A soft, pure-white colourway that strips everything back and lets the shape of the Bullitt do the talking.

One of our simplest designs, with only a drop of milk adorning it. Together with the liquidy text and name, one might be tempted to believe that we’re paid by big milk - but we promise we’re not. If you need a hint in regard to the reference of the name and graphics, you might place it next to a Clockwork, and look at those two together. There’s a common denominator here.

Colourways

Lizzard King

No snake oil here, but we’ve got a Bullitt with snake skin and a matte green color - it’s the ‘Lizzard King’. The duality inherent to our Larry vs Harry DNA is strongly represented by this Bullitt.

A love letter to Jim Morrison fused with the spirit and flair of Texas boogie legends ZZ Top. But style needs substance, and the graphics deliver. A love letter to you, and the aforementioned scales snaking its way around the frame.

Bollocks

It’s rebellious, it’s punk, it’s anarchy and it’s screaming at you in bright yellow - It’s the ‘Bollocks’. It’s the 70s again - and the revolution is carried on a yellow Cargo Bike.

The name originates from a nod Larry & Harry couldn’t resist: the Sex Pistols’ Never Mind the Bollocks. Adorned with graffiti graphics, and unmistakable “screw you”-energy.

Raw

It’s different, it’s simple, it’s one of a kind: Literally and figuratively it’s the ‘Raw’. The anti-colour.

No paint, no decals - no cultural references. This bike was born, because no two people are the same. And although the lineup offers tons of colour choices, Bullitteers still want to make their Bullitts their own. That also means painting them whichever colour they can come up with - or going with the raw, aluminium look of an unpainted frame.

Gearing options

Closeup of the Deore 20 speed gear group mounted on a Bullitt. It is external gearing with front derailleur. Two chainrings in the front and 10 speed cassette.

Deore 20-speed

External

A versatile and dependable external gearing system, offering a wide gear range without the premium price point of top-tier performance groupsets. With two front chainrings and a wide-range rear cassette, this setup delivers closely spaced gears that make it easy to fine-tune your cadence across flat roads, rolling terrain, and steeper climbs.
As a traditional chain and cassette system, the Deore drivetrain offers good mechanical efficiency and a direct, familiar riding feel. Gear changes are quick and predictable, making this a solid choice for everyday riders who want reliable performance and flexibility without stepping up to a high-end racing-oriented setup.

XT 12-speed

External

The highest-performance gearing option available for our pedal-powered Bullitts. The 12-speed cassette gives you a large total gear range that supports both fast riding on flat roads and controlled climbing when the bike is loaded. The XT groupset is close to 400g lighter than the Deore groupset. It is made of stiffer and lighter materials and provides slightly faster acceleration. The cassette teeth shape means you can multi-shift both up and down. XT provides smoother, faster shifting, better power transfer, and enhanced reliability, making it ideal for demanding riding in mixed terrain.

Internal

This entry level set up provides a reliable, low-maintenance drivetrain at an approachableprice point. It’s ideal for urban riders who want the versatility of a cargo bike without the complexity of high-end gearing. With seven internal gears, it offers a smooth progression between gears, enough to handle typical city hills, moderate loads, and mixed urban terrain. The coaster brake is integrated into the hub, allowing riders to stop by simply pedalling backward. It's a low maintenance brake that is less affected by wet, salty, or gritty conditions. Combined with a classic chain, this setup delivers a familiar ride feel similar to a traditional European city bike.

Shimano Alfine 8 on a Bluebird Bullitt

Alfine 8-speed Chain

Internal

The Alfine 8-speed internal hub offers a reliable, low-maintenance drivetrain at a lower price point than the Alfine 11, making it ideal for urban cargo rides or city commuting. With 8 internal gears, the system provides a practical range for most city riding, light hills, and moderate loads. A chain is slightly more efficient than a carbon belt drive, giving more power directly to the wheels. Chains require regular cleaning and lubrication especially in wet or winter conditions, but are more affordable to replace and provide the familiar feel of a classic bike drivetrain.
