Larry vs Harry Return and Refund Policy
We are delighted when anyone buys one of our amazing BULLITT cargo bikes or any of the other products that we make and sell. Our hope is that you’ll enjoy your purchase for years and years to come.
But sometimes things don’t work out. Maybe the part wasn’t exactly what you were hoping for. Or it was damaged in its travels to you, despite our efforts to package it securely. Perhaps we sent the wrong product (not that we ever make mistakes, but even Harry is human). And sometimes, products don’t work the way they’re supposed to. At any rate, you might find yourself in a position where you feel you need to return what you got from us. Here is how you do that:
If you are a consumer (a living, breathing, human being type person) who is buying the product for your own use:
- First, for purchases shipped within the EU, you have 14 days from when we shipped your order to tell us you want to return it – no questions asked, no reason required. This is great for those late night orders that you don’t quite remember the next morning . . . we’ve all been there, let’s just leave it at that. We will refund your purchase price and shipping, but you may need to pay to ship your order back to us. This is your legal right of withdrawal, also called the “cooling-off period,” that the EU requires we give you.
- Second, on top of that right of withdrawal you have a two-year period during which we are required to repair or replace faulty products. The fault must have been present when we sold the product to you. In that case you have the right to have the product repaired or exchanged for a new one. Where it’s not possible to repair or replace the faulty product, you may be entitled to a price reduction, or to have your purchase canceled completely.
This two-year protection period extends to the original purchaser and any other subsequent purchaser during that two-year period.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The right of return and the two-year protection period only apply to stuff you buy from our website. If you buy one of our BULLITT cargo bikes or any other Larry vs Harry products from one of our amazing dealers, you need to contact that dealer with any return or warranty questions.
In addition to all of this, no matter whether you are a consumer who bought your Bullitt for your personal use, or a business who bought it for commercial use, you are covered by our Larry vs Harry warranty no matter where you are located. We warrant our Larry vs Harry cargo bikes and products as follows:
- Frame: 5 years, starting with Bullitts purchased on or after January 1, 2021
- Front fork and steering system: 2 years
- Larry vs Harry branded parts and accessories: 2 years
- Third-party components (including but not limited to drive motors, batteries, tires, chains, spokes, pedals, grips, seat) are covered by the warranty offered by the component manufacturer. Note that third-party warranties may or may not cover commercial use of your Bullitt.
Our Larry vs Harry warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It does not apply if you modify the frame. In cases where you purchased your Bullitt from one of our wonderful dealers, you will need to see your dealer for warranty issues.
In all warranty cases for products you bought directly from us, please please please contact us before you send anything back. Use our email info@larryvsharry.com and include your order number or invoice number if you don’t have your order number (though you should have your order number since we will email it to you when we accept your order).
